CARE groups

Monique and Aidan would like to share with you thier thoughts on our introduction of CARE groups this year.

"Every second week we have CARE groups and we learn how to be friendly and how to make friends.  We learn new things and I get to say hello to people in my CARE group at recess and lunch time."  Monique

"In my CARE group we learn how to respect others and co-operate with others.  The activities are good because we get to learn each others names.  I feel I can talk to them because I know them a bit better." Aidan

Peppercorn Tree Story Writing Competition

Today on the 18th of May the Peppercorn story writing awards have started, it would be great! there are some rules though like:

The story needs to be 500 words or less,

Needs to be handed into the LRC by friday 26 of June,

You can write on any theme- but try and use the keyword 'spring' in your story,

You can write either a picture book, a graphic novel, or short story. if you want to include picturesyou can

Don't forget- we  need your name and class on the back of the story/ book.

JELLY BABY DAY

We helped raise money for Diabetes Research by holding a jelly baby day.  We rasied $1511.00.  We had a Jelly Baby come and visit us at assembly.
