At Kew Primary School we engage students in a variety of ways to display and develop their leadership qualities throughout their school life. We have School Captains, House Captains, Student Representative Council and a Year 6 Leadership program.

School Captains

Our two School Captains this year are Arnold and Alexis. School Captains play an important role at Kew Primary School. They represent our school in a variety of ways within the local and school community. It is a great honour to be elected School Captain by their peers.

Hi my name is Arnold Learner and earlier this year I was chosen as school captain of Kew Primary School along with Alexis Didelis.

Over the past semester, Alexis and I have been involved in many different things including leading the Kew Festival Parade, organising lunch for leadership day, reading out Pupil of the Week almost  every week and helping with the C.A.R.E Program and thanking guest speakers.

This semester we are hoping to organise a Careers Day, A day where parents come in to the classroom to talk about their careers.  We hope this will assist year 6 students in making a very important decision for their futures. We hope to have this day at some point in term 4.

So far we are really enjoying our positions as School Captain. It has been a fantastic experience and we are really looking forward to organising more days and speakers for the school.
