Year 6 Leadership Day

On Wednesday 18th of February year 6 participated in a Leadership program. In the morning we gathered together and listened to a guest speaker, Tiffany Hall, otherwise known as Angel from channel 7’s “Gladiators”.

For the rest of the day we participated in workshops learning about teamwork, communication, public speaking and keeping cool. First we took part in two workshops and then at lunch we had a delicious sausage sizzle and icy poles. After lunch we had two more workshops.

Overall we had a fantastic day thanks to all the teachers: Mr Pratt, Mrs Nelson, Kerry Lomas, Sarah Jones and Jacki Hopkins, and parents: Melissa Williams, Rebecca Aarons, Peter Treppo and Michelle Du Preez for cooking sausages at the sausage sizzle.

We would also like to thank Bakers Delight and Safeway for supplying the food.
