Book Week - Parade & Author Visits
Book Week was celebrated at Kew Primary School with 3 author visits, a performance and a Parade!
Deborah Frenkel, author of Truck Cat and 100 School Days spoke to the Prep, Year 1 and 2 students.
Amelia Mellior, author of The Grandest Bookshop in the World, The Booksellers Apprentice, The Lost Book of Magic and her latest 3 book series, Oceanforged spoke to the Year 3 and 4 students.
George Ivanoff, author of the popular You Choose…... adventure books spoke to the Year 5 and 6 students.
The Prep to Year 3 students also got to watch a performance of the literacy musical, SOMETHING SPECIAL, which features 3 of the 2026 Children’s Book Week shortlisted books to celebrate the theme: Symphony of Stories.
