Year 3 MAV Maths Games Day
Maths Games Days are a very effective vehicle for getting young people – particularly in the middle years of schooling – enthused about maths. All problem solving and mathematical games addresses the Victorian Curriculum. At Kew Primary School, we collaborate closely with the Mathematical Association of Victoria (MAV) to promote a love of learning and upskill both students and staff.
At the MAV Maths Games Day a maximum of two teams per school compete in areas of creativity, efficiency and contribution to group work. Each team consists of only four students. Students are selected based on their academic performance, attitude towards learning and teacher recommendations.
Congratulations to our participating students on a fantastic day!
